We help you uncover hidden facts – and dollars – in your medical related cases, while saving you time.

CASE SCREENING

With our clinical expertise and extensive knowledge of the medical record, we can accurately and efficiently identify adherence to, or deviations from the standards of care.  This enables us to efficiently screen cases for merit.

SUMMARIZE, TRANSLATE, AND INTERPRET MEDICAL RECORDS AND REPORTED EVENTS

With the advanced training of our medical legal consultant, we can provide our clients medical, and nursing interpretation and opinion of facts.  We can develop written reports for use as study tools by our clients from brief to comprehensive reports with the inclusion of chronological timelines.  We can evaluate damages, injuries and causation by accurately assessing pre-existing conditions, factors that caused or contributed to the alleged damages and injuries, and determine prognosis.  We can assist in identifying if the incident, or deviation in the standard of care, caused the injury.

RESEARCH AUTHORITATIVE MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE

The advanced Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) training of our principal medical legal consultant, supports systematic literature search strategies.  This ensures dissemination of a representative sample of literature to our clients.  Our expertise allows us to synthesize data and integrate the literature, standards, and guidelines into the case analysis.

DEPOSITION AND TRIAL PREPARATION

We can help prepare witnesses and experts for deposition and trial.  Additionally, we can interview clients, key witnesses and experts.

INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS (IME)

The advanced training of our medical legal consultant supports the coordination and attendance to IMEs.

NEXUS LETTER WRITING FOR WOMEN VETERANS

A Nexus connects two or more things.  As it pertains to Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Compensation & Pension (C&P) claims, a Nexus letter serves as a document that is written by a medical professional that describes how an in-service event caused the claimant’s current medical condition.

Our principal medical legal consultant serves as a Certified Nurse Midwife, and Ob/Gyn Nurse Practitioner. As a result of specialized training, our team is able to support the connection between the claimants in-service disease or injury and the Veterans current disability.

We can coordinate and attend IME’s and provide a Nexus letter that meets VA specific guidelines.

DEVELOPEMENT OF EVIDENCE

With our clinical expertise and known inner workings of hospital systems, our team can assist in preparation of interrogatories, deposition and trial questions, and the development of demonstrative evidence.
